The British Halo organization has announced the signing of Abel “Rammyy” Garcia to the roster after a successful trial period.

The team has been on the lookout for a new addition after placing Torez “Envore” Broyles, who had been a part of the starting roster since its formation, on the bench on June 22. The current roster includes Abel ‘Rammyy’ Garcia, Juliano ‘Sceptify’ Sadiku, Chasen ‘SuperCC’ Cavuto and coach Casey “Strobe” Hebert.

Fnatic announced the acquisition via its Twitter page, welcoming Rammyy to the team.

“We are excited to introduce a new member of Fnatic’s Halo roster, Rammyy. After successfully completing a probationary period after leaving Spacestation Gaming, Rammy is joining our team as we prepare for Halo Championship Series 2022 North America regional super. Welcome to black and orange, Abel!”

In a tweet responding to Fnatic’s post, the team’s newest recruit wrote: “Surprise! Very excited to play with the new team, thanks to Spacestation Gaming for the opportunity. I love the atmosphere here at Fnatic, playing with the people I grew up playing with, and looking forward to showing what we can do.”

Prior to joining Fnatic, Rammyy was the face of the Spacestation Gaming roster for three months without achieving any notable success. He was replaced by Suppressed on June 3, due to the team’s lucklustre top 16 showings in HCS Kansas City.

Rammyy also represented the Esports Arena Red franchise earlier this year for barely a month.

Like Rammyy, Fnatic is attempting to make an impression, especially when put up against stronger North American lineups. The team performed well in Kansas, but during the online tournaments, the team’s results started to decline, which led to the decision to part ways with Envore.

Rammyy’s trial for Fnatic started towards the end of June, but the two parties made the move official recently. Despite the fact that the team is yet to see any noticeable improvements in its results, as the franchise finished in the top 12 standings in the just concluded HCS Open Series.

The changes to the roster and bringing in a fresh perspective could help to push Fnatic back to the top.

The signing could have a big impact on Fnatic’s performance, with the Online Super taking place in two weeks. This is largely because any proposed lineup would be expected to practice and prepare with limited time for the last major tournament before Orlando LAN takes place in September.

With the confirmation of Fnatic’s roster, a few teams are left with concerns surrounding their possible lineups. Esports teams such as eUnited and FaZe Clan have both been silent about future plans or official signings. At the moment, neither team has a complete roster for the fast-approaching tournaments.
